Handmade Classical Guitars

The Candyman and Santa Fe Classical Guitar Gallery are pleased to offer handmade concert quality classical guitars from builders both domestic and from Central America.

These instruments represent a variety of instruments very competitively priced to meet the needs of the serious player. These instruments are of high quality made in traditional designs and are made with all solid woods and a variety of top woods and rosewoods. They look and sound beautiful and are usually priced at about 50% of the cost of other handmade instruments.

The instruments are shown by appointment only at The Candyman at 851 St. Michael's Drive by contacting Dave Yard at dwyard@gmail.com. They can also be viewed at the Santa Fe Classical Guitar Gallery website.

The instrument also has a listening port on the upper bout treble side, and is wonderful to play. It is well balanced and very rich in tone. It is made from Madagascar rosewood, and has a Spanish
red pine top, also referred to as cedar.

This is an extremely special instrument that was custom made for a jazz player who likes nylon strings.
